MUGPUSH Drummer Damon “DameTheDrummer” Taylor is a fast rising industry talent! Hailing from Cleveland, Ohio & recently relocated toSan Francisco. Dame is respected for his eclectic drumming ability, aggressive pocket & feel, & production capabilities. Dame hails from a musical family & started playing the drums at age 4. His style molded by a variety of musical influences & genres such as Jazz, R&B, Hip-Hop, Rock, & Gospel. His sound is compared toSteve Jordan & ?uest Love with a dose of Chris "Daddy" Dave.
Igniting the stage DameTheDrummer has performed worldwide including the US with MUGPUSH, Coachella 2013 Russia with "the Ambassador f of Boogie Funk" DåM FunK, & San Francisco based indie band Le VICE. DameTheDrummer has produced &recorded extensively including his solo album "BREATHE" 2012, Conya Doss LP, "D'Phuzion Avenue" duo with Durand Bernarr, & has joined forces with MUGPUSH in 2012.
