James "Sticknasty" Small Jr. the Bay Area Drum phenom keeps MUGPUSH Collective in pocket! A Berkeley, California Native his deep passion for music began at 2 years old when his church choir Pianist Father gifted him his first drum set! With the church choir a Family affair he continued to develop his drumming skills playing for his church chorus band. It was while attending the World renowned Berklee College of Music that "Sticknasty" honed his talent and musical education became known for his advanced Drumming capabilities and was recruited by industry James was destined for the stage and began working at an early age.

Influenced by many styles and artists as a professional musician James "Sticknasty" Small Jr. has played with leading bands and toured nationally with Grammy-winning music artists including 2 chainz, French Montana, Wiz Khalifa, Asher Roth, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. He has been recognized for excellence in the performing arts including Fine Arts Achievement Award, BA 2010, Outstanding Musicianship, Reno Jazz Festival, April 2010, Award of Excellence, 20th and 21st Annual Folsom Jazz Festival, 2009 & 2010. The next GENERATION of MUGPUSH "Sticknasty" joined the Collective in 2015 as a part of our music evolution.
